Fighting for the Rights, Health, and Flourishing of American Children
Who We Are
The Fairness Fund is a broad, pluralistic movement for fairness and dignity for all of God's children, regardless of religion or sex. We support civil rights laws and religious freedom. We have worked alongside the nation’s leading faith groups, with leaders of both parties, and in the courts, to uphold religious liberty in state and federal law.
We are dedicated to protecting and promoting the health and flourishing of children who are especially vulnerable to harmful and destructive cultural, psychological, and medical trends.
Our Mission
Our charitable mission is to form hearts and minds to create an educational, legal, political, and cultural landscape across the country in which children are cared for by their families, educators, and doctors as they need and deserve instead of being pushed into destructive, irreversible, and medically unjustified ​medical ​procedures. We ​act out of our unswerving commitment to basic human dignity, children’s physical and mental health, and the common good.
A Unique Vision
In this polarized moment, we believe that the only way to win everywhere — in Blue states and Red states alike — is to stand shoulder to shoulder with partners of goodwill wherever they might be found.
Accordingly, The Fairness Fund ​will​​ create and deploy a broad and unprecedented pluralistic coalition to protect our nation’s children. Our partners include the American Unity Fund (a center-right nonprofit that advocates for religious freedom and against unjust discrimination), The First Amendment Partnership (“1AP,” a nonprofit dedicated to protecting religious freedom for Americans of all faiths at the state and federal levels), and others. ​​
Our coalition aims to secure key legal and policy victories in the states and federally to prevent our children from becoming the casualties of a struggle over the nature of human reality, science, and truth itself. Working together across the legal, policy, educational, and cultural domains, we ​are building a nation where children everywhere are cherished, cared for, and protected as they deserve.
